Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Landscape Architect to join our growing team in Fort Myers. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to play a key role in shaping our landscape architecture practice in Southwest Florida. The position is flexible and will be tailored to fit the successful candidate’s strengths and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or support design and permitting of landscape architecture projects for commercial, municipal, and residential clients.
- Develop site plans, planting designs, irrigation plans, and construction documents in coordination with our civil, utilities, and transportation teams.
- Conduct code and zoning reviews for local compliance and sustainability.
- Oversee or assist with client presentations, proposals, and community outreach.
- Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor junior staff or lead project teams as growth continues.
- (If senior-level) Grow the client base and participate in business development; lead strategic initiatives to expand the firm’s LA presence in the region.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
- Professional licensure in Florida(MUST).
- 5+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
- Strong design, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D,Adobe Creative Suite, and standard LA software.
- Experience with permitting and working with Florida municipalities.
- (Preferred for higher range) Existing client relationships or business development experience.
Compensation& Benefits:
Salary range of $80,000–$120,000,commensurate with experience and client base. Additional incentives and leadership opportunities for candidates bringing business development value. Full benefits package including health, dental, PTO, and professional development support.
